Committee Mate is built with a focus on privacy. Because our app utilizes local storage alongside cloud synchronization via Supabase, we collect only the necessary information to keep your groups, sessions, and financial ledgers synchronized.
- Account Data: Email address or Google SSO information used for signing up.
- Financial Data: The data regarding your ROSCA committees, contributions, and sessions is securely stored in our cloud infrastructure to provide you seamless cross-device sync.
- Device Data: Basic analytics related to app performance (crash reports) and biometrics, which are handled exclusively on-device.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your synchronized data strictly to provide the features of Committee Mate, including tracking payments in installments, drawing payouts, and managing committee groups.
We will never sell, rent, or share your financial data with third-party advertisers.
3. Cloud Sync and Backups
By default, Committee Mate utilizes Supabase as a centralized Postgres server. If you delete the app or change phones, your data will securely restore upon logging back in. You also have the option to export backups manually as a file.
4. Your Rights
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app\'s settings screen.
