Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Committee Mate mobile application, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

2. Service Description

Committee Mate provides tools to help individuals manage their Rotating Savings and Credit Associations (ROSCA committees). The service allows you to track members, contributions, and session draws. We provide the ledger; we do not process financial transactions directly, nor do we act as a bank or financial institution.

3. User Accounts

You may create an account manually or via Google authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, including any biometric security settings you enable on your device.

4. Data Subject to Cloud Sync

By using an account, your data is synchronized to our central Supabase servers so that you can restore data upon changing devices. You are also encouraged to generate manual backup files. We are not liable for lost data if you bypass or fail to use the provided sync features.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use Committee Mate for any illegal financial operations or money laundering schemes. We reserve the right to suspend accounts suspected of unlawful activity.

6. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any feature with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the service.
